Support for New England Veteran Advocacy Services

The Federal Member for New England, Barnaby Joyce, has recently received advice that applications by three ex-service organisations in the New England electorate under the Building Excellence in Support and Training (BEST) grants program have been approved.

Mr Joyce said the BEST grants, which will assist with the provision of veteran advocacy services, have been awarded to Armidale Legacy ($14,474.29), the Tamworth RSL Sub-Branch ($48,839.47) and Tamworth Legacy ($26,850.00).

“I congratulate the grant recipients organisations upon their successful applications and commend them and all ex-service organisations across Australia for the essential services they provide to veterans and their families,” Mr Joyce said.
