Take time to take care while out and about on Easter weekend: Joyce

17 Apr 2014

FEDERAL Member for New England Barnaby Joyce has extended well wishes to his constituents in the New England Electorate for the Easter break.

“It’s important that people take extra care while out on the roads as they visit friends and family this Easter weekend,” Mr Joyce said.

“Most families in the electorate have had a busy time in the first quarter of the year, especially those on and off the land who have been impacted by drought.

“Now it’s time to relax a little, the kids are on school holidays and families will want to get-together for catching-up time.”

Mr Joyce said members of emergency services like the police, fire and ambulance services would be on duty for Easter.

“They don’t want to have to sort out the result of an unfortunate traffic accident.

“So just take a bit of extra time on the roads and arrive at your destination safely,” he said.
