LABOR MOVE ON FROM INSULTING DUTTON TO INSULTING THEIR OWN CONSTITUENTS

Labor Senator for NSW, Tim Ayres, has decided to further double down on the policy of insulting Peter Dutton to now a general insulting of Labor constituents.

Today Senator Ayres referred to those protesting against the offshore wind factories at Port Stephens and the Illawarra as “Cuckoos” and “fringe dwellers”.

Mr Joyce said, “Well Tim, I’ll tell you what they actually are - voters, and constituents in Labor held seats.

“I thought after the disgrace of this week and the name calling of Peter Dutton that, Tim, you may have got a memo to take it down a cog or two.

“Tim, you have to be really careful when insulting the thousands of people who are turning up to the demonstrations up and down the coast. 

“It is a bit of a faux pas that that your House of Representatives colleagues get really upset about, especially if it becomes one of the reasons they lose their seat,” Mr Joyce said.
