The Balonne River at St George has peaked and today is slowly starting to fall. It will take many days though for the township to return to normal. I've been busy this morning helping fill sandbags, but I've managed to get some photos showing how the water has risen since yesterday. My thoughts are with all those who are faced with losing belongings, crops or property at this time. read more
